Collaborators

As a nonprofit organization, our approach to growth is identifying collaborators instead of typical practices of business development to acquire customers.  Together, a collaborative convening can enable your community to solve a multi-disciplinary problem with multiple stakeholder input.  We’ve identified three occasions in ANY initiative where you may find our services a worthwhile accelerator in achieving your outcomes in a defined time requirement:

  • LAUNCH
  • STALL
  • SCALE

Donor-funded initiatives that involve multiple organizations advancing innovative programs in the education-to-employment ecosystem rarely become sustainable on a grant-level timeline.  Common pitfalls occur at each of these three stages that hinder effectiveness for transformation in systems.

Hence our collaborators are often found in coalitions, consortiums or intermediaries seeking large-scale engagement across multiple organizations.

EDUCATIONAL PROVIDERS

EMPLOYERS

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

Some collaborators may be leading an initiative already.  Or the funder may know the comprehensive framework needed, but are uncertain as to which players are needed to be in the collaborative initiative.

Once the players/stakeholders are confirmed, then the initiative operates under a Program name, examples might include Alabama Talent Triad, Greater Houston Partnerships, NOVA Workforce, Tech Talent Pipeline or any TESOL Certificate Program in every state.   Whether the intermediary is workforce investment councils, government offices of education through employment pathways or community college state systems, we can facilitate collaboration at the community or organizational level.

WebStudy Foundation enhances effective collaboration between any combination of the following types of organizations, for the purpose of producing more qualified workers into future jobs, faster:

Identify where your organization resides in the systemic change process.

Community vs Organizational

Community

Community and Philanthropic Organizations: We partner with community groups and philanthropic organizations that are invested in creating sustainable, systemic changes in education and workforce development.

OR

Policy Makers and Government Agencies: We engage with decision-makers to influence policy and funding decisions that support the education-to-career pipeline.

Employers and Businesses: We collaborate with industry leaders to ensure their workforce needs are met through educational programs.

Workforce Development Organizations: We assist these groups in bridging the gap between job seekers’ skills and the demands of the job market.

Higher Education Institutions: We work with colleges, universities and workforce training providers to enhance their curricular alignment with current and future workforce needs.

Organizational

EDUCATIONAL PROVIDERS

We dismantle silo thinking across high school representatives, community college faculty, workforce training providers, digital education companies and providers of in-demand job skills such as Google.

  • State community college systems sharing certificate and degree programs.
  • Workforce training providers outsourcing content, curriculums, and programs to accredited colleges and universities.
  • High school representatives, community college faculty, administrators, and learners to create new possibilities for dual enrollment programs.
  • Four-year continuing education departments could boost enrollment beyond traditional degree programs.

EMPLOYERS

We dismantle silo thinking across employers seeking skilled labor, educational providers, labor market providers, online certificate providers and community organizations supporting systemic change.

  • Share labor market data with educational providers.
  • Establish minimum enrollment agreements for emerging programs like cybersecurity engineering, drone dispatching, AI prompt engineering, or end-of-life coaching.
  • Host regional community summits to anticipate and plan for rapid changes in upskilling and reskilling new and existing employees

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

We dismantle silo thinking between workforce development, economic agencies and educational providers so the right hand knows what the left hand is doing.

  • Host regional workforce summits to anticipate trends and strategies for better decision-making.
  • Explore innovative approaches to managing a diverse and extended workforce.
  • Research and prioritize reskilling requirements for half of all employees worldwide by 2030.

And much more…

Then decide if the “right hand is talking to the left hand” at every stage of initiative sustainability:
