    How Does Cloud Collaboration Work?

We partner with your team to create a convening of multiple stakeholders in "a same time"/"different place" collaboration

    Here’s How Cloud Collaboration Works

Design virtual collaboration in groups of any size to:

    • Simplify and expedite process improvement
    • Achieve aligned decision making, inclusively
    • Enable new program implementation of any degree of complexity

    Possible Scenarios

    Transform Wicked to Wise

Instead of off-site, traditional approach over a couple days dragged across iterative editing over two semesters – only to result in a binder on the shelf, we eliminate truncated lapses of time and increase probability of success

Any combination of stakeholders log into Cloud Collaboration for each session. We facilitate a discussion of key strategic issues and then pose simply stated questions where stakeholders simultaneously enter their answers via online feedback tools. It is fast, precise, and everyone’s thoughts are captured.

Following each session, the input is synthesized and a “Theme Analysis” is reviewed prior to the next collaborative session.

Over a few weeks, divergent viewpoints converge. Following the last session, you receive a deliverable draft to validate shared decision making.

    Transform Difficult to Decisive

Instead of trying to ‘do it all’ with a large-scale gathering that includes 250 leaders physically in one location followed by a task force to conduct preliminary findings.  Which then results in a broad report that includes  low, mid- and high-value activities but lacks immediate priorities. We eliminate meeting logistics and cost by using collaboration tools so diverse thinking can be captured, synthesized and translated into actions implemented in the same semester.

Any combination of stakeholders log into Cloud Collaboration for each session. 250 leaders across levels, functions, and locations are organized into 25 virtual teams that meet online each week for collective thinking and planning. Each one-hour session is designed and facilitated to clear away anything and everything that isn’t immediately essential. This leaves you with less on your plate. It “clears the air” and allows you to do the important things faster (and better!).

Over a few weeks, divergent viewpoints converge. Following the last session, you receive a deliverable draft to validate shared decision making.

    Transform Solvable to Accelerated Success

Instead of a committee using cloud apps like Zoom and Microsoft Teams to formulate the wording of a survey to send to stakeholders across four campuses, 1600 faculty and 4,000 staff with poor returns.  Which is then followed by more virtual meetings to condense and report findings that everyone ignores because it was weighed too heavily on technology instead of pedagogy.

One reason is Murphy’s Law, which states that “anything that can go wrong will go wrong.”  Another reason to accelerate your process is the ever-changing environment. No matter how theoretically perfect your original plan may be, as the execution timeline lengthens, its value depreciates because the context changes.   In a warp-speed world, time is NOT on your side — the slower you move, the less chance you have of achieving your objective.

Any combination of stakeholders log into Cloud Collaboration and we launch a Parallel Approach consisting of two approaches to action in groups: one moves serially, taking one step at a time; and the other moves in parallel, taking many steps simultaneously.  In both approaches, we accelerate the process with online tools aimed at seeing the big picture from both points of view, shaping objectives prioritized by both departments and clarifying key behaviors that will allow you to achieve the speed you need to succeed.
